It is with great sadness that we share news of the passing of longtime football coach, Jim Williams, a beloved member of the DCHS coaching staff. We extend our prayers and deepest sympathies to his family during this difficult time.
Thank you for the continued prayers for Trevor Schwager, his family & friends. Visitation will take place on Sunday, Dec. 10 in the chapel at DCHS from 4-7 p.m. followed by a scripture service at 7. The funeral will take place on Monday, Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. in the DCHS gymnasium
It is with great sadness that we share news of the passing of Tom Barnabo, a long-time teacher and coach at DCHS. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife and their sons during this most difficult time. A virtual rosary will take place today at 4 p.m. Please see details below.
DCHS senior Steffen Osborn has earned the highest possible ACT composite score of 36. On average, only one-tenth of 1% of students who take the ACT earn a perfect score. Congratulations and best of luck to Steffen who will attend Notre Dame in the fall!

Senior Anna Wanek was recently honored as the 2018 Iowa Bankers Association’s Student Athlete Achievement Award winner for Class 5A. Congratulations to Anna who was selected based on her scholastic standing, leadership skills, community involvement and athletic participation!

Alumnus Kurt Flood ‘10 presented @DCHSPrincipal with the Patriot Award on behalf of the Employer Support of the Guard for supporting his service. In addition to teaching @ DCHS, Mr. Flood serves as a Logistics Officer in the Iowa National Guard with the rank of Second Lieutenant.
